Thank you for your support and patience as God continues to direct us through our transition from ministry service overseas to serving here in America. Your prayers for wisdom, discernment and direction for us are being answered.
Through the month of June, AoGI has been evaluating ministry needs along with the skills and gifting of our family. We have spent some time together investigating these opportunities, however I am reporting to you today that there are currently no new opportunities available.
This means that we will begin the process of searching for employment in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. Please pray that the Lord will guide us to good work for His glory and work that will provide for our family.
June 2010 will be the last month financial support for our family will be accepted through AoGI. If you currently send in a monthly donation by check, please note that future donations are not required. If you give through EFT (electronic funds transfer), all EFT donations will be turned off as of July 1. This will be automatic so no action on your part is required. Kroger card supporters may continue to use the cards if you like, however all proceeds from the Crane Kroger cards will go to support AoGI ministries. All donations intended for us that are received in July will be returned. Since you have been a faithful supporter, please consider supporting another missionary family. Please see the "Top Needs" link to get connected to more information for other families serving through AoGI. AoGI Top Needs
God has been so good through our missionary journey. He has been especially been good to give us people who have prayed fervently, encouraged us, supported us financially, sent gift packages, cared for our kids and served us so diligently in all ways - THANK YOU! God is so good!
Although our direction is changing, God is not finished with redeeming a people from every language. Great work was accomplished at the Biblical counseling training held at Sakae Bible Church in May. Recently, a local Japanese family accepted Christ and was just baptized. More Japanese people are learning about what God is doing at Grace Fellowship and coming to church through translation on Sunday. Japanese moms and kids are signing up for VBS as the Barnabas Team continues to serve the Lord with passion and perseverance. Please pray for the B-team.
We will keep you informed of how God is moving and please continue to pray for us during our transition. We truly can't say it enough, THANK YOU for your part in the life of our family and ministry.
Serving together,
David & Marcy Crane The Crane Family
